According to the study carried out by the global e-commerce platform eBay, the leaders in this channel are the Aragonese companies Seven out of ten small and medium-sized Spanish companies recognize that they need external support to integrate the mobile channel into their business. This study emphasizes that the smartphone is one of the main means of searching, comparing and purchasing products from users.

Nevertheless, the need for external support is offset by SMEs ‘ willingness in several channels to strengthen their strategy. Thus, 44.4 percent say that having mobile apps or optimized websites is vital to their business growth, while 43.1 percent recognize that everybody will buy through apps in the future.

The study shows that 70.5 percent of the SMEs surveyed know the advantages of mobile trade, but for this channel, only 28.4 percent have an application or an optimized business web. By region, Aragonese SMEs are leading mobile channel implementation, as 37.3 percent of them have an application or an optimized website. Madrid (36.6 %), Catalonia (33.1 %) followed Aragonese autonomy.  and Castilla y León (32.9%).
