The new brand will be called Fenty Maison. The brand name is associated with Rihanna’s full name (it’s Robin Rihanna Fenty).
Rihanna will be the first woman to create an original brand with LVMH.
The singer, who has over 70 million Instagram followers, is known for her daring choice in fashion. Fenty, which will produce clothing, shoes, and accessories, is the first new brand by LVMH since 1987.
In her statement, Rihanna said that she was given “a unique opportunity to create a fashion house in the category of luxury, without any creative restrictions”.
“Creating such a line with the help of LVMH is an incredibly special moment of my life… I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and in business, and I’m ready for the moment when the world to see the things we have created together,” Rihanna emphasized.
3. Rihanna 2019 Fenty
LVMH CEO Bernard Arnaud said that Rihanna would be provided with support in building the team and that she will get all the necessary resources.
“Everyone knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but thanks to our partnership in Fenty Beauty, I found a real entrepreneur, a true CEO and a terrific leader.
I am sure that she will find her place in LVMH, ”said Arno. – To support Rihanna in creating Fenty Maison, we have created a talented team, supported by the resources of the group. I am proud that LVMH heads this enterprise, and I wish it to flourish”.
According to the BBC, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty cosmetics line, launched in partnership with the LVMH Kendo cosmetic business incubator, earned 500 million euros in the first year.
In 2018, Rihanna also launched the Savage X Fenty underwear line.
